FINALLY...The Barisa Store is live!

The journey from a simple market stall once a month to what has evolved into markets most weekends culminated in this website which quietly went live on the 31st of May. Like Barisa markets The Barisa Store will be a continually evolving entity. There are already other segments we want to include sooner rather then later, targeted corporate gifts, hair accessories and embroidered accessories to mention a few. Heading towards Winter..2017

(subtitled: Where is this year vanishing to?) It's a lovely day outside.. autumn at its best with little wind, fewer clouds and the need to discard any warmth saving clothing which we put over the standard leggings and a tunic! However I know this won't last and the winter markets are soon upon us with the first Little Big Market on the 6th of May (at Coronation Park at the Mount) and lots of others to follow. The busyness of the last few weeks and only two elephant bracelets exist

What a diverse few weeks have just gone by.. the third term issue of Good Teacher Magazine was uploaded on Monday... again it's 80 pages of interesting reading... Usually I can suggest a few favourites but not this time! It was pretty amusing to be contacted by a national company today to see if they were too late to be included!!! perhaps next term I'll send them a reminder... The Little Big Vintage Market

  Saturday's Little Big Market started quietly but that soon changed and it was great fun...lots of lovely people to talk to, cute kids who wanted to buy pendants with money they had saved, and the possibility of some future commissions.
