Waiting for a bail...

The little green robot is a new trial group of robots.... destined to be pendants ... quirky? probably...                   different? of course... This wee resin chap is guarding the work bench at present waiting for me to decide on the colours of his companions and then to attach his silver plated bail ready for hanging (in the nicest possible way of course!). He is translucent green with lots of glitter which of course catches the light...he has a companion robot who has a matt grey finish (very robot-ish!) but I'm not sure if he will...

Daisies galore and a new banner

Two part, clear, quick dry epoxy.. fantastic glue but the limited time frame can be taxing! However it is essential for attaching bails on necklaces so I use it fairly regularly... Waiting for photography

Creating items for the online shop is fantastic but there has to be a regular time set aside to photograph them. Otherwise the pile of stock ...stockpiles! And the site looks slightly bare while the stock lurks alone in boxes waiting for its turn. So here are some of the pile of new crochet beanies... soon to make an appearance...the one already on the site needs company! These are all individually crafted and no two are the same... as with many items on the site we are able to create for individual requirements...just contact us and ask! Also in the little...

The studio's perfect window view

This blog isn't just for the promotion of whatever we are working on... craft trials and errors, great ideas, photos which appeal all have a place here and go to make up the very rich tapestries of our lives. I thought you might like to share with me the view I have from my computer desk in the studio. Facing west it can be a it chilly in the winter mornings but afternoons and summer months prove it is perfectly situated. The studio is used for jewellery making, glass and wood working and has been known to have part converted into a...
