The little green robot is a new trial group of robots.... destined to be pendants ... quirky? probably...                   different? of course... This wee resin chap is guarding the work bench at present waiting for me to decide on the colours of his companions and then to attach his silver plated bail ready for hanging (in the nicest possible way of course!). He is translucent green with lots of glitter which of course catches the light...he has a companion robot who has a matt grey finish (very robot-ish!) but I'm not sure if he will...

Playing with metal and resin

Sometimes it's nice to take the time to enjoy making a different style of pendant. Using metal as the background and shaping it, then.... leaving as a finished worked piece, adding embellishments or simply adding colour to enhance the metal's pattern.                        I've found that with metal pendants it's usually not workable to use a glass cabochon as in the other pendants so I have to use resin with all its possible foibles to finish off... the ones in the picture were completed using two part doming resin which actually managed to set perfectly much to my...

How to spend your 'spare time'

Finally I can raise my head and catch you up on what I have been doing! After thinking long and hard I decided that now was the time to go for it, to stop talking and thinking,  and start getting a little more serious about the jewellery and allied creations...      I started by realising that there needed to be a fair amount of stock... this thinking was backed up by a lovely lady at the gypsy fair who said to make more than you ever think you'll sell.. all a little scary when you're not sure if anyone will...
