The weekends activity will take a week to relay!

Posted by 2 on

Wow what a weekend, no market but there was so much to do and it was a pretty diverse couple of days which will take all of this week to relay! First there was the final finishing of all the new rings which had been worked on all week..We chose three different settings, they are a new thing for us, but we've had so many requests it would be madness not to trial a few settings and see how they go! The setting pictured on the right is pretty unusual but can be bent to fit any size finger and...

Sometimes... in the Studio....

...Necessity seems to be the mother of 'making do' There I was,  literally stuck with glue on my hands this afternoon, trying to do too many things at once, and the stands for holding elements while the glue set just too far away to grab immediately...so it was a case of using what was nearest to hand, to prop up this wee wooden bird before it set in its place amongst the roses. There is something lovely about the atmosphere and vibe of the Vintage Market.. even the slightly unloved hall with the very retro if not vintage furniture is most appropriate...

Hair accessories occasionally go to the dogs!

Posted by 2 on

There is a much earlier post about the hair accessories we make but as they have gradually become more and more popular I felt it was time to add another delve into the diversity which is the world of hair accessories. When we decided to also add hair jewellery (perhaps that should be hair accessories!... they are not made from hair!) to the collection little did we know that they would not only be attractive to little girls - though they are our most ardent admirers and very persuasive with grandmothers! - we have also had the most entertaining conversation with...
