Tomorrow will be pretty busy with the set-up for the market being one in the afternoon and the market then running from three until eight. Lovely event to have in the middle of winter though...here's hoping that the weather doesn't discourage people from coming out and enjoying the afternoon/evening.

Steampunk series development

The steampunk series/collection is finally growing. After a break to concentrate on a wide variety of other jewellery and embroidery stock for the differing markets and clients it was possible to put a some time aside to create another small grouping of streamlined steampunk themed pendants. Having decided that the double bail pendants were a good fit we added to what we had available for market goers when we made...

We had found the fluffy, frilly hair clips featuring butterflies and dragonflies, sparkles and feathers, were popular as summer drew to a close so decided to spend an evening creating new ones. With the vintage market about to happen we also decided to make some traditional felt flowers which we then turned into both hair clips and brooches. The centers on many of them are tiny bird buttons. The most surprising thing has been that despite offering a generous discount to buy five hair clips at one time, no-one has taken up the offer yet.... odd...They are a grandmothers favourite...
